1. Introduction

Continua Logistics is committed to conducting business responsibly, ethically, and with integrity. We oppose all forms of modern slavery and human trafficking and take steps to ensure that these practices have no place within our operations or supply chains.

Although our annual turnover does not currently meet the statutory reporting threshold under the UK Modern Slavery Act 2015, we have chosen to publish this statement as part of our commitment to transparency and ethical business conduct.

2. Our Business

  • Continua Logistics provides logistics, freight, and delivery services across the UK and internationally.

  • We operate as part of Quantum Initiative and work with a range of suppliers, subcontractors, and partners in transportation, warehousing, and IT services.

3. Our Commitment

We are committed to:

  • Ensuring our supply chains are free from slavery, servitude, forced labour, and human trafficking.

  • Working only with suppliers and partners who share our commitment to ethical labour practices.

  • Promoting awareness among staff and stakeholders about the risks of modern slavery.

4. Policies & Procedures

We have adopted the following measures:

  • Supplier due diligence – checking suppliers for ethical compliance and legal adherence.

  • Contract clauses – requiring suppliers to confirm compliance with modern slavery legislation.

  • Employee awareness – ensuring staff are aware of how to identify and report concerns.

  • Whistleblowing policy – enabling concerns to be raised confidentially without retaliation.

5. Risk Management

We recognise that risks of modern slavery are higher in certain areas of the logistics and transport sector, particularly where subcontracting is involved. To mitigate this:

  • We assess high-risk suppliers more closely.

  • We require subcontractors to demonstrate fair working practices.

  • We avoid working with suppliers who fail to meet ethical standards.

6. Training & Awareness

We will provide training to relevant staff on identifying risks of modern slavery and how to report concerns.

7. Continuous Improvement

We are committed to improving our practices year on year by:

  • Strengthening supplier audits.

  • Enhancing staff training.

  • Expanding transparency in our reporting.

8. Approval

This statement has been approved by the directors of Quantum Initiative and applies to Continua Logistics operations. It will be reviewed annually and updated as necessary.
